Overview

The Bizzy Bee Event was a limited-time event with new features, limited-time NPCs, and rewards.

Mechanics

Honey System

• The Queen Bee tasks users with collecting Pollinated plants in exchange for Grow a Garden Honey.
• Users must deposit at least 10kg of these plants into the Grow a Garden Honey Combpressor - which is operated by the Onett NPC. *Deposited fruit weight does not roll over.*
• After 30 seconds, the user is rewarded with 10 Grow a Garden Honey.
• These points were able to be redeemed at the Queen Bee's Event Shop for exclusive rewards.
• The Queen Bee restocks the Grow a Garden Honey trades every 30 minutes.

Bee Swarm Event

Hourly Swarm Events, lasting for 10 minutes.
• The Queen Bee sends swarms of bees to pollinate a number of random plants every 30 seconds.

Working Bee Swarm

• Replaces the Swarm Event with a 1/3 chance of occurring, also lasting for 10 minutes.
• The Queen Bee sends swarms of multi-colored, building hat, wearing bees to pollinate a number of random plants every 30 seconds.
• 3 bees are sent to pollinate the players' fruits simultaneously, tripling the amount of pollinated fruits per cycle.
• Increases Craft Speed of Bizzy Bear Crafting recipes by 10x.

Bizzy Bear Crafting

• The user was able to select which seed or item to craft.
• Each crafting recipe has unique requirements, such as a flower pack and 10 Grow a Garden Honey for a Crafters Seed Pack.
• The player must then wait the designated craft time before claiming the item.
• The previous iteration of the Bizzy Bear Quest from Part 2 of the event involved giving it specific pollinated or Grow a Garden Honey-glazed crops of certain sizes, with the required crops becoming harder to obtain as the player progressed through the quests to earn rewards. This system was replaced by the crafting system added in Part 3.

Trivia

• After the event ended one of its mechanics the Grow a Garden Honey Combpressor transferred over to the next event, the Summer Harvest Event.
• The Bees share close resemblance to the Minecraft bees.
• From now on, bees are different colors, not only yellow.
• The pollinated texture resembles that of the gold but with added particles.
• The Royal Jelly was based off an item in the popular Roblox experience, Bee Swarm Simulator. The Royal Jelly was later scrapped, and replaced with the Honey Sprinkler.
• The NPC working the Grow a Garden Honey machine is Onett, the creator of Bee Swarm Simulator.
• Onett's various quips often reference content found in Bee Swarm Simulator.
• This event shares similar ideas to the Lunar Glow Event, an exclusive shop that resets every 30 minutes, and a chance for a limited mutation during each hour.
• The Bizzy Bee Event was the fourth Event added in Grow a Garden.
• This is the second Event to continue with a Part 2, the first one being the Night Event.
• In addition, the Bizzy Bee Event is the second event to have content added to it post-release.
• Some people dress up as Onett and try to steal pollinated fruits.
• There is a bug when a player join the game after a swarm started, the music used for the swarm won't be played. Instead, it plays the game music.
• This event has the most event crops added to the game.
• The working bee swarm event now has a different icon, a yellow bee with a hammer.
• In addition, after the bee pollinates a fruit, the fruit is now highlighted light blue instead of yellow.
• There is a bug where repeated use of the Grow a Garden Honey compressor in a single session will cause the Grow a Garden Honey/pollen inside of the compressor to become less and less aligned with the rest of the model the more it is used.
• The name of the event was most likely a reference to the "Buzzy Bees" Minecraft update.
