The Hive Fruit grows differently than other plants. As the Hive Fruit grows, it starts off small, then its size gradually increases as it grows. This is different because most fruit extend or add more parts as it grows.
Sometimes the Hive Fruit can stay extremely small while growing, this makes it very difficult to harvest without the use of a harvest tool.
Hive Fruit is currently the plant with the most changes in base value. Starting off at Sheckle 6,400, and then 2 days after the Bizzy Bees Update it got changed to Sheckle 23,145. A few days later it got buffed to Sheckle 45,125. As of the Working Bees Update the base value of Hive Fruit has once again changed, this time to Sheckle 55,955.
As of Update 1.10.0 the Hive Fruit's unique ability to release bees when it has the Pollinated mutation has been properly implemented, as it was broken in prior versions.
After being fully grown, Hive Fruit can produce from one to four crops, randomly distributing by its branches.
The Hive Fruit seed is visually very similar to both the Pumpkin, Mango, Loquat and Pineapple seeds.

Appearance

Once planted, the Hive Fruit tree occupies a significant area in the garden, similar to the Moon Blossom. It features outward-growing branches, with fruits appearing on these extensions. The appearance of the tree is similar to a peach tree. The fruits themselves appear with brown and yellow stripes having a hole in the middle.
