The Blood Owl is a divine pet added in the Blood Moon Event update. The Blood Owl is one of the nine pets added in the update, also known as Update 1.06.0.

The Blood Owl could be obtained in the Blood Moon Shop for 60,000,000. The Blood Owl has 50,000 hunger.

The Blood Owl shares the same model as the Owl. However, it is recolored in various shades of red. It is one of the 4 owl-type pets, along with the Night Owl, Cooked Owl and Owl.

Has an ability with an 8 second cooldown.

Which does absolutely nothing.

It indicates when the owl will fly or walk on the ground.

The developers have now changed this bug

The Admin Abuse had a new activity called the traffic light which featured Red Light Green Light except the Squid doll was replaced by the Blood Owl and making it to the end gave the Traffic light cosmetic

All active pets gain an additional (0.08 * Weight + 0.5) XP per second.

Before Nihonzaru's ability was removed, max buff gain from a Nihonzaru was +0.48 XP per second

It's ability can stack with Medium Treat and Small Treat (up to ~ x3.6 with both treats)

Medium Toy adds 0.1 XP per second

Small Toy adds 0.05 XP per second
