How It Works

Tri-Horn: Every 3 minutes and 33 seconds, the Triceratops charges into 3 random plants and advances each of their growth stages by 33 minutes and 33 seconds.
Each time this activates, there is a 15.18% chance for the ability to trigger again, stacking multiple times.
This ability can significantly speed up the growth of slow-yield crops, especially when the player is offline or managing large gardens.
Note: The Triceratops can NOT ram one pick plants.

Best For

  • AFK passive farming with 33:33 minute growth advancement every 3:33 minutes
  • Slow-growing crop optimization - Bone Blossom, Dragon Pepper, Divine-tier crops
  • Multi-proc potential with 15.18% chance to trigger again (can chain multiple times)
  • Giant crop creation when combined with Moon Cat size boost synergy

Pro Strategies

High-Value Crop Targeting
Position Triceratops in gardens with expensive, slow-growing crops. Since it targets 3 random plants, fill your garden primarily with high-value crops like Candy Blossom (4+ hours), Bone Blossom (15+ minutes), or Dragon Pepper to maximize the Sheckle value of each growth advancement proc.
Chain Proc Optimization
With 15.18% re-trigger chance, Triceratops can proc multiple times in sequence. Each additional proc advances 3 more random plants by another 33:33 minutes. This creates exponential value when it chains 2-3 times, potentially advancing 6-9 plants by 1+ hours of growth in a single activation cycle.
AFK Overnight Strategy
Deploy Triceratops before logging off for maximum passive income. With 3:33 minute cooldowns, it activates ~13 times per hour during AFK periods. Even with base 15% chain chance, you'll see multiple chain procs overnight, dramatically accelerating crop harvests without active management.
Giant Crop Synergy Method
Combine with Moon Cat for the ultimate giant crop strategy. Moon Cat provides 1.5x size boost to new fruit, while Triceratops advances growth stages. This creates massive crops worth millions of Sheckle - position both pets to overlap coverage areas for maximum effect.

Alternatives

Budget: Manual Watering Can Usage
Cost: Active clicking vs passive automation
Tradeoff: Immediate control vs automatic every 3:33 minutes

Common Mistakes

  • Filling garden with cheap, fast crops (wasted growth advancement on low-value targets)
  • Not maximizing expensive crop density - Triceratops targets random plants
  • Ignoring chain proc potential - missing 2-3x value from re-triggers
  • Poor positioning relative to high-value crop clusters

Advanced Tips

  • Track 15.18% chain proc rate - you should see chains roughly 1 in 6-7 activations
  • Use with Master Sprinkler for size multiplication before growth advancement
  • Position near Divine-tier crops where 33+ minutes saved = maximum Sheckle per proc
  • Combine with Raccoon theft protection during long AFK sessions
