The Tanuki is a legendary pet added in the Zen Update. It can be obtained with a 20.82% chance from hatching a Zen Egg.

Mischief: Every ~10 minutes, causes mischief, triggering one of the following actions in the player's garden:

1. Gives a random fruit the Chilled mutation.

2. Gives a random fruit the Choc mutation.

3. Gives a random fruit the Moonlit mutation.

4. Gives itself a set amount of experience.

5. Advances a random pet's cooldown by 60 seconds.

6. Gives the player 300-1,000.

The Tanuki resembles its real-life counterpart and has a brown body, with different spots having different brown tints.

It also faintly resembles a Raccoon, just a brown one and has a smile.
