The Moon Melon is classified as a Sweet, and Night type Fruit.

The Moon Melon seed was previously obtained in the following ways:

Purchased during the Blood Moon in the Blood Moon Shop for 500,000 or729 .

By a chance to obtain it by getting 3,600 points or more during the Summer Harvest Event.

The Moon Melon seed has a solid, light, crimson color.

The Moon Melon crop is a short green stub with Moon Melons growing of it.

The Moon Melon produce is a square crimson body with a short, vertical, thick green stem on its top.

Moon Melons are often used as substitutes for Candy Blossoms.

There is currently a strategy called the "Sprinkler Method", which involves spamming sprinklers around the Moon Melon crop and leaving the game for at least 30 minutes— resulting in sell prices rivaling Candy Blossoms after applying certain mutations and very large crop size.

It is considered to be one of the best fruits for grinding early to late mid game.
